Lightweight Directory Access Protocol services
The LDAP service provides remote access to the mail
user information through any LDAP client application.
Mail user data includes standard LDAP information
such as the user's last name, organization, mailing
address, and telephone number. LDAP Version 3 is supported.
Mail Forwarding
Users can have their mail forwarded to another address.
This is useful if a user wants to use his local ISP's
Mail address and at the same time keep different accounts
for different purposes.
Vacation Support
If a user is unable to answer mail due to vacation
or other absence, he can setup his account automatically
send one notice to each person who sends mail to that
user. This allows people to send many messages to
someone on vacation without being flooded with notices
that the recipient is away.
Mail Delivery Rules
Users can create delivery rules to search for particular
text patterns in the content of a particular part
of a message (To, From, Sender, Subject, entire header,
or message body) and re-route the message based on
the contents. You can apply this powerful feature
for better management of your mails, avoiding Spam
and more.
Automated Response or Auto responders
Users can setup an automated response when mail is
received this feature is useful for acknowledging
mail and keeping people informed.
